Abstract

This research is a quantitative study with the aim of examining the determination of population, gross regional domestic product and regional spending on regional tax revenues in Bangka Belitung Province. The purpose of this study is to find out how the effect of population, GRDP, and regional spending on regional tax revenues in Bangka Belitung Province in 2010-2020. This research is useful to be used as material for proper consideration in taking policy steps to overcome the problem of local tax revenue by looking at the factors that can influence it. This study used a purposive sampling technique with 7 regencies/cities for the period 2010-2020, thus the total sampling available was 77 data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance. This study uses panel data analysis with the Stata 12 program. Where the results of the research are obtained by showing the number of residents and regional expenditures have a positive effect on local tax revenues while GRDP has no effect on tax revenues.
