Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of bilateral currency swap agreements on Indonesia's trade. The study employed five of Indonesia's trading partner countries as samples, using a total of 75 annual data points from 2008 to 2022. Data for this research was sourced from Bank Indonesia, the Central Statistics Agency, and the World Bank. The research utilized panel data analysis with Stata 17 as the technique and testing tool. The partial results indicate that BCSA (Bilateral Currency Swap Agreement), exchange rates, and GDP (Gross Domestic Product) influence the trade balance, while interest rates do not affect profitability. Simultaneously, this study demonstrates that all independent variables impact the trade balance. Keywords: Bilateral Currency Swap Agreement; Trade Balance; GDP; Interest Rate
