Abstract
The government attempted to address the issue of limited access to funding for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by establishing a loan program known as Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR). Bank financial institutions were the primary distributors in the KUR scheme. The three banks with the highest value of currency distribution were BRI, Mandiri, and BCA. When it comes to the allocation of credit, there are both internal and external considerations to consider. One of the internal factors affecting the distribution of KUR was the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), while the external factors include Inflation and the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR). This research examined the impact CAR, Inflation, and BI7DRR on the distribution of KUR. The sample is utilized on a quarterly basis, encompassing an observation period from 2009 to 2022. This research used panel data regression analysis methods and classical assumptions. The results of the conducted research, utilizing the Fixed Effect Model approach, indicated that CAR, Inflation, and BI7DRR collectively exerted an influence on the distribution of KUR. The factors of CAR and Inflation exerted a notable favorable impact on KUR. In the meantime, the BI7DRR variable had a substantial adverse impact.
