Abstract

Economic growth serves as a measure of success in the development of a region or country, and it is the central focus of this quantitative study. The research aims to investigate the influence of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), infrastructure, labor, and the hotel sector on economic growth in Bali Province. Utilizing data from 9 districts/cities in Bali for the period 2013–2022, processed using Stata 17 software, the research employs a panel data regression model, with the selected model being the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The study findings indicate that (1) Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) significantly impact the economic growth of Bali; (2) infrastructure does not significantly influences the economic growth of Bali; (3) labor affect the economic growth of Bali; and (4) the hotel sector significantly influences the economic growth of Bali. Simultaneously, the variables of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), infrastructure, labor force, and the hotel sector collectively impact the economic growth of Bali. Based on the research results, the researcher proposes recommendations for consideration in future policies. These recommendations prioritize the improvement and development of infrastructure, recognizing its key role in driving economic growth.
