Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of Company Financial Characteristics and Corporate Governance on Company Value during the Covid-19 Pandemic and Post-Covid-19 Pandemic (study in the food and beverage sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. In this research the variables Company Characteristics and Governance Company Management is), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Quick Ratio (QR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Number of Audit Committee Meetings (KA). Then, these variables will be tested to see whether they have an effect on company value before the pandemic and now. The research population is 30 food and beverage sector companies that have been listed on the IDX in 2020-2022. The year used to carry out this research analysis was during the 2020-2021 pandemic, and after the pandemic, namely 2022. This research used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection in this research was descriptive analysis, multiple regression test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test. The test was prepared using the IBM SPSS version 25 statistical application. The results of this research obtained the following results: R2 test results for Corporate Financial Characteristics and Corporate Governance. Then, the results of the T test from this research showed the following results: (1) Net Profit Margin showed that it had no significant effect on company value, (2) Current Ratio had a significant effect on company value, (3) Debt to Equity Ratio showed that it had no effect on company value. and (4) The number of audit committee meetings shows that it has no effect on company value.
