Abstract
This research is a quantitative study that aims to examine the effect of financial sustainability, law enforcement, and government size on the level of corruption in local governments in Indonesia. The population of this study is all district and city governments in Indonesia. The sample in the study amounted to 87 local governments consisting of 61 district governments and 27 city governments based on purposive sampling method with the criteria of district and city governments that have corruption cases with permanent legal force in 2022. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis which is tested using the STATA version 17 program with a significance value / level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that (1) financial sustainability has a significant positive effect on the level of corruption in local governments in Indonesia, (2) law enforcement has no significant positive effect on the level of corruption in local governments in Indonesia, and (3) government size has a positive effect on the level of corruption in local governments in Indonesia.
