Abstract

This research investigates the impact of Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC), Net Working Capital (NWC), and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth on the performance of technology sector companies from 2019 to 2022. Using probability sampling, the study involves 32 companies with 128 observations over four years. Panel data regression analysis reveals that the Cash Conversion Cycle has a positive but statistically insignificant influence on company performance. This can be attributed to the unique characteristics of the technology sector, driven by rapid innovation and product changes. Similarly, Net Working Capital demonstrates a positive yet statistically insignificant impact on technology sector company performance. The complex nature of the sector, influenced by external factors like technological changes and intense competition, may contribute to these non-significant results. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth also shows a positive but statistically insignificant influence on technology sector company performance during the study period. The non-significant results may be due to the complexity of other factors affecting profitability in the technology sector.
