Abstract

This research is a qualitative study with a literature review approach aimed at understanding the role of Artificial Intelligence in the audit process, audit quality, and auditor behavior. The study uses data from related research journals on Artificial Intelligence in auditing, with a total of 16 indexed national and international journals. The results of the study indicate that Artificial Intelligence benefits the audit process in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and early detection of potential fraud, but still requires careful supervision and interpretation by human auditors. Additionally, Artificial Intelligence can also improve the quality of audits and enhance the integrity of auditors in performing their duties.
