Abstract

Financial indicators such as profitability, liquidity and asset quality are used to evaluate financial performance, while non-financial indicators such as compliance with Sharia principles and social contribution also need to be taken into account using the Maqashid Syariah Index (MSI). This research aims to analyze the performance of the Maqashid Syariah Sharia Commercial Bank in Indonesia and determine its effect on profitability using the Return on Assets (ROA) ratio. The method used in this research is quantitative with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) approach, which is one of the methods used in the decision making process and after that a multiple linear regression test is carried out. The data used is the annual report of Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia for the period 2022. The results of this research is that Maqashid Syariah Indonesia has not effect on Return on Assets (ROA).
