Abstract

Grilled food is in great demand in the community with many restaurants providing grilled food menus. The grill system in general still uses manual methods such as fanning the charcoal and flipping the grill clamp by hand. This causes the grilling process to be ineffective and labour-efficient. The rotary system grill machine is designed to increase the effectiveness and efficiency in the grilling process. This machine has a dimension of 640mmx400mmx400mm. The simulation results of convection heat transfer have a temperature range of 130℃-300℃. While radiation heat transfer has a temperature range of 145℃-200℃. The results of the static stress simulation on the frame structure of the rotary system grill machine with loads of 22N, 37N, and 62N obtained stress magnitudes of 6.77574 MPa, 11, 3956 MPa, and 19, 0953 MPa and experienced axial deformations of 0.00841364mm, 0.0141502mm, and 0.0237112mm. The manufacturing process of this machine costs Rp.1,249,200,00, - with a total time of 369 minutes. The test results using 200gr pomfret fish objects with 30 minutes, 35 minutes, and 40 minutes are medium, medium well, and welldone.
