Abstract
This Research focuses on analyzing the effect of macroeconomic factors, namely inflation and global indices on the performance of the composite stock price index (JCI) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The variables used in the study are Inflation and Exchange Rate for macroeconomic, Standard & Poor's 500 Index and Hang Seng Index for global index. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis models with time-series data for the period January 2018 to December 2022. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it shows that (1) Inflation has no influence on the JCI (2) Exchange rate has a negative influence on the JCI (3) S&P 500 Index has a positive influence on the JCI (4) Hang Seng Index has no influence on the JCI.
