Abstract
Within the scope of land law, or commonly known as agrarian law, there is a land activity that must be carried out by a person if he owns a field, the land activity is a land registration activity. Land registration activities aim to register all land parcels in Indonesia. Before carrying out land registration someone who wants to carry out land registration must first legalize the required documents needed in the registration of a land, the process of legalizing the documents that are a condition for land registration must also be carried out by officials who have authority in the land sector, officials in the land sector those who can legalize these documents are also not just any land officials but must be officials who are authorized by the BPN to legalize the land registration requirements file, in this case the land officials who are given the authority and responsibility to legalize land registration by the BPN are PPATs who have the right to legalize land registration requirements documents is only a PPAT.
