Abstract

Background: ARI is a respiratory infection that affects the entire respiratory system, beginning in the nose and ending in the alveoli. Children are susceptible to acute respiratory infections, a condition that often affects children. The prevalence of ARI in Depok among children under five years old was 32.08% in 2018. 300 different strains of bacteria, viruses, and rickets are at the root of ARI. Methods: This paper was conducted using the nursing care case study method on An. A with Acute Respiratory Infection in Limo Region. Data collection through interviews, observation, physical examination, and documentation. Results: Nursing diagnoses found are ineffective airway clearance, knowledge deficits, and health management readiness. Interventions carried out are monitoring respiration with actions to monitor frequency, rhythm, depth and effort of breathing, monitor breathing patterns. Then Health Education with the action of explaining risk factors that can affect health. And anticipatory guidance with actions to involve the family and facilitate deciding on problem solving. Carry out implementation in accordance with previously made interventions. In addition, the author has implemented respiration monitoring and conducted an evaluation. During 3x24 hours, the problem of ineffective airway can be resolved. Conclusion: Implementation has been carried out with An. A based on nursing care can be shown by decreased sputum production.
