Abstract

PT. Simco Tridatama was founded in 2012. As sales increased, the company had to build a bigger warehouse. Therefore, the company built a warehouse, but did not yet have an inventory control information system. In the absence of a system that maintains or records inventory, the company will find it difficult to analyze and make decisions, operational employees will also need more time in storing goods and retrieving goods. Therefore, an information system is needed that manages these problems so that companies can minimize risks such as lost item records, item records that do not match existing physical goods, and delays in reporting item records. This study aims to design an inventory control information system in real time, the system is made based on a website by analyzing existing problems with PIECES analysis, in addition to creating a system architecture that is modeled using UML diagrams, and building an information system using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. . This research will produce a system database and inventory control application at PT. Simco Tridatama which is expected to make it easier for companies in the warehousing process.
