Abstract

In 2017-2021 period, there have been fluctuations in the CAMEL ratio of Islamic Bank, so that Islamic Banks that play a role in the country's economy must measure their health level, namely by calculating the CAMEL method. This study serves to measure the level health of Islamic Banks using the CAMEL method for the 2017-2021 period. The variables contained in this study ,there are CAR, KAP, NPM, ROA, BOPO and FDR ratios. This type of research is quantitative research with the subject of Islamic Banks and Objects of bank health levels. The data comes from the official OJK website and the annual report of Sharia Banks. Data collection techniques are documentation and data analysis techniques are quantitative descriptive analysis. The sample selected based on the criteria is three banks including Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank Mega Syariah, and Bank BCA Syariah. The bank's health level using the CAMEL method at Bank Muamalat Indonesia obtained a fairly healthy rating, while the health level at Bank Mega Syariah and Bank BCA Syariah obtained a healthy rating during 2017 to 2021. The results of the recapitulation, overall health level of Islamic Banks received a healthy rating with a PBI value of 81-100.
