Abstract
Child protection is all activities to guarantee and protect children and their rights so that they can live, grow, develop, and participate optimally in accordance with human dignity and protection from violence and discrimination. normative law of library materials is basic data which in the study is classified as secondary data. The secondary data has a very broad scope, which includes personal letters, diaries, books to official documents issued by the government as a form of the problem that the author will discuss is about a case where the victim sexual harassment that has been harassed by the perpetrator, but the victim did not immediately report it but only 1 year from the incident just reported it to the authorities, so from this case the author conducted a study to seek knowledge about what causes sexual harassment and how to implement the Protection Act Children against punishment for perpetrators of sexual harassment, as well as what is the role of parents in dealing with acts of sexual harassment, and to find out what causes sexual harassment and how to implement the Law on Protection of Children against Punishment for perpetrators of sexual harassment, as well as what is the role of parents in preventing sexual harassment. deal with this act of sexual harassment. The role of parents in this case must provide education about sex education to children, establish good communication, and maintain harmony with the family. and the purpose of providing sex education to children is to provide lessons on the role of sex, especially on biological topics such as pregnancy, menstruation, puberty, etc.provide anunderstanding of how attitudes and ways to get along with the opposite sex.
