Abstract
The high potential for danger can increase the risk of accidents and have an impact on the high losses that will be caused. The implementation of 5S is a necessary effort by developing standard methods so as to create and improve efficiency, quality, workflow, and worker safety. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the 5S program and analyze factors related to the incidence of work accidents at PT. X. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional study design. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with a sample size of 109 workers.statistical test chi-square obtained age variable (p-value 0.100), knowledge variable (p-value 0.000), attitude variable (p-value 0.002), supervision variable (p-value 0.000), 5S implementation variable (p-value 0.018). The results of this study can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge, attitude, supervision, and implementation of 5S with the incidence of work accidents and there is no relationship between age and work accidents.
