Abstract
COVID-19 has been declared a global pandemic. Governments in various countries have begun to develop vaccines and are taking other precautions to prevent or slow down the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to stop the spread of COVID-19. Pregnant women are at increased risk of more severe disease, when compared with nonpregnant patients of the same age. Pregnant women have an increased risk of becoming severely infected with COVID-19, especially in pregnant women with certain medical conditions. Several factors that can influence vaccine acceptance include doubt about the effectiveness of vaccination, distrust of vaccination, and concern or anxiety about side effects. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of anxiety and beliefs regarding COVID-19 vaccination with the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine in pregnant women at the Jatimulya Health Center, South Tambun. This research method used descriptive analytics with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling of 119 respondents. Test the analysis using the Chi Square test. Research instruments use COVID-19 Vaccine acceptance, Vaccination Anxiety, and Beliefs regarding to COVID-19 Vaccines. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between anxiety with COVID-19 vaccine acceptance in pregnant women (p value = 0.000), and there is a significant relationship between belief with COVID-19 vaccine acceptance in pregnant women (p value = 0.000). Researcher hope that future researchers can develop more deeply about the relationship with COVID-19 vaccine reception with qualitative research types in order to get clearer reasons for anxiety and beliefs related to vaccine reception and can develop variables related to COVID-19 vaccine reception in pregnant women.
