Abstract

The level of public trust in Covid-19 is an important thing to discuss. The need for government efforts to approach the community through policies such as providing education in the community. Methods: This study uses a quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The research population is all residents who have been exposed to Covid-19 with criteria aged 15 years and over as many as 231 people using the total sampling technique in the RW, Pamulang sub-district. The research instrument used a questionnaire, the analysis of research data with univariate and bivariate using the Chi-square test. Results: The level of public trust is positive with the readiness for positive adaptation to Covid-19 as much as 84%. The results of the Chi-square test show that there is a significant relationship between the level of public trust in Covid-19 and readiness to adapt to the Covid-19 pandemic (p = 0.003).Conclusion: The level of public confidence in the preparation to adapt to Covid-19 is at a positive level. The majority of people have implemented health protocol behaviors such as frequent hand washing, wearing masks, and maintaining a minimum distance of 2 meters. However, in implementing Covid-19 prevention, there needs to be cooperation between the community and the government.
