Abstract
PT Plastech Indonesia is a private company engaged in the cosmetic packaging industry, especially cream pots, lipsticks, and bottles which are produced and distributed according to orders from consumers. The demand to produce high quality such as defective products will certainly affect the psychological burden of workers. Based on the author’s observations and the results of interviews with several employees at PT Plastech Indonesia found that the workload given to employees was too heavy, namely employees had to reach the target consumer demand in a large enough number and the work had to be completed in a fairly short time. The purpose of this study is to assess the physiological (physical) workload using CVL analysis and psychological (mental) workload using the NASA-TLX analysis in the form of weighting, rating, product value, WWL, and average WWL for PT Plastech Indonesia employees and provide suggestions or improvements to employees of PT Plastech Indonesia with a physiological (physical) workload and a psychological (mental) workload in the unsafe category. The method used in this research is the CVL and NASA-TLX methods. The results showed that the number of employees who had a physical workload in the category of very much needed improvement was 2 people or 18.18% and the category of no fatigue was 9 people or 81.82%. The number of employees who have a mental workload in the very high category is 3 people or 27.27% and the high category is 8 people or 72.73%. There were 5 people or 45.45% who needed rest time, namely 11.36 minutes, 2.83 minutes, 5.04 minutes, 4.62 minutes, and 4.92 minutes
