Abstract
Lampung Province has the lowest Human Development Index (HDI) among other provinces on the island of Sumatra. Lampung Province is the main gateway to Sumatra Island, but this does not make Lampung Province's HDI level better than other provinces on Sumatra Island. The research was conducted to find out how the influence of government spending in the education sektor, government spending in the health sektor, per capita income, and poverty on HDI in Lampung Province. The data used in this study are 15 districts/cities in Lampung Province for the 2015-2019 period, so the panel data regression model is the method used in this study, with the model chosen namely the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). This study shows the results that 1) government spending in the education sektor affects HDI in Lampung Province, 2) government spending in the health sektor does not affect HDI in Lampung Province, 3) income per capita affects HDI in Lampung Province, 4) poverty has no effect on HDI in Lampung Province.
