Abstract
Weather has a great influence on human daily life. Humans are very dependent on weather conditions in carrying out various kinds of activities so that humans develop the science of forecasting or predicting weather. Weather prediction is used as a decision support for the community in planning their daily activities that depend on weather conditions. Indonesia as an equatorial country experiences weather anomalies more than countries far from the equator, which makes it difficult to predict weather changes. Weather conditions in Indonesia are influenced by the interaction between the sea and the atmosphere in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean that flank Indonesia. In predicting weather conditions accurately, a system that can analyze and predict weather conditions is needed. One solution that can be used is a weather prediction application using fuzzy c-means (FCM) and fuzzy sugeno. The weather data used is BMKG weather data from Bandung Geophysics Station from 2015 to 2019 for the FCM process and 2020 weather data for accuracy testing. The input data used in the prediction are air temperature, humidity and wind speed with the output data in the form of rainfall and weather. The FCM method is used in creating the input data membership function. After the membership function is created, perform the weather prediction process with the fuzzy Sugeno method starting with fuzzification, fuzzy inference, and defuzzification. The end result of this research is an application that can help predict weather with online weather data and user input data which will be processed with fuzzy c-means and fuzzy sugeno. The application can display the results of weather predictions between Sunny/Cloudy, Light Rain, Moderate Rain, Heavy Rain, or Very Heavy Rain with an accuracy rate of 71.10%.
