Abstract
The problem of illegal immigrants will not be solved and is still homework for the Indonesian and Australian governments. This is because the problem of illegal immigrants has occurred since decades ago due to various events in other countries such as war conflicts, victims of human rights violations, or poverty. Indonesia became a transit country on the way to Australia, so this is what makes Indonesia and Australia must work together to be able to deal with the problem of illegal immigrants and people smuggling, one of the cases. People smuggling that occurred in Indonesian territory is a case of people smuggling carried out by Sayed Abbas, he was the one who facilitated the entry of illegal immigrants into Australia, Sayed Abbas was involved in the arrangement of the arrival of two. The Indonesian ship to Australia carrying two groups of illegal immigrants, with this the author taking a normative juridical research approach, is legal research that is conducted by examining library materials or mere secondary data, with the result that Indonesia with Australia as a country that has ratified UNTOC should enforce the law jointly in the completion of human trafficking cases in a mutually agreed manner. Bali process, and the Indonesian government must sprinkle an extradition treaty with the Australian government to adequate all activities for the eradication of human trafficking crimes
