Abstract

This program is used to calculate the transverse construction of fishing boats. The transverse construction in question is the scantling midship section. The calculations in this application do not match with other types of ships, because the characteristics of fishing vessels are different from other vessels so that the rules referred to are also different. This program will ask the user to enter various data which will be processed by the program to get various results. The data needed is related to the ship that we want to calculate, such as principal size, coefficient of ship shape, and various factors that may affect construction . The results will be obtained such as the thickness of a plate or the modulus of a profile. After the modulus is obtained, the user will be able to determine the dimensions and modulus of the profile according to the needs and desires of the user. The program is designed so that it can be used by users easily and make fishing boat construction calculations faster and better
