Abstract

Tuition fee reduction submission is a policy provided by UPN Veteran Jakarta, which can be followed by students who has financial problems and need support for paying tuition fees. The existing process for student tuition fee reduction submission considered still less effective and efficient, due to the difficulty of students (applicants) in monitoring the progress of their submissions, and there are still students (applicants) who are not recorded in applying for tuition fee reduction. Therefore, this research aims to produce a web-based application monitoring system for student tuition fee reduction, which can manage applicant data, monitor the status and progress of submissions made, thus making the process of student tuition fee reduction submission more effective and efficient. The monitoring system for submitting student tuition fee reduction was made using the CodeIgniter framework version 4, MySQL as a database, and was designed using the waterfall method. This monitoring system is expected to make it easier to manage applicant data and monitor the progress of submissions.
